Our "Wholistic" View and Acupuncture
The body is viewed as a whole—mind, body, and spirit. Therein lies a delicate balance between the three. When one part of the body is sick, so will the rest.
TCM is derived from the theory that energy or Qi (pronounced chi) flows through pathways called meridians. These meridians follow closely the nervous and circulatory systems and therefore connect to every organ. With that in mind, when you hear your TCM diagnosis, don’t be alarmed if your doctor attributes your headaches to an “imbalance between your Liver and Heart”.
